Attendees for this unique conference come from DMOs from an eight state region that includes Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.  Surrounding states in the Midwest are always welcome to attend as well.  Various staff levels attend UMCVB including CEOs, sales and marketing professionals, services and sports professionals.  Typically 150-200 destination professionals are in attendance.

In 2025, UMCVB was attended by 158 destination professionals representing 80 different organizations with a full attendance, including speakers and sponsors, of 204 participants.
